Took off a week to go to Texas to attend a seminar and vist my brother. Figured a bit of rest and rtelaxation would be nice. The problem is that once I broke the daily blogging habit it has been tough to get back.
Always end up a bit behind when you take time off so it has been way too easy to avoid posting here and have it move down the priority list. That ends today.
I have been working on something new for here though and will be experimenting with it starting Monday. You’ll have to stop by to see what it is.
Today though I will be talking about using a blog for marketing purposes and it should be a good session. It is in conjunction with Affiliate Funnel another program I own. It will be at noon edt (GMT-4) and if you would like to stop by you can download the software here.

Well this is far and away the number one question that shows up in all my surveys and comments. The corrollary to that is how can I do it? Followed by the absolute best one – How can I make money and do nothing with a blog? No its not worded quite that way but it is what they mean.
Well I just read a free report from Michael Green that he sent to his subscribers. It is a great over view and answers the question much better than I can with a simple blog post. Most of all it is free.
I contacted him and asked if I could get a copy for my readers as this is the number one question I get asked in my surveys. Ask and you shall receive. He gave me permission to offer this to my readers at the same great price – free.

Been extremely busy with launching a new program with two partners. Did not upgrade any of my blogs to 2.1.1 because of that. I usually like to have at least one to review but time constraints have kept me from doing so.
Good thing though as it seems there may have been a major security crack in the 2.1 version causing Word Press to not only release 2.1.2 but make a major change in their testing of there downloads to avoid a similar problem.
Guess this will give my evil twin a great chance to go rant about the type of person that likes to do this stuff over at The Old Bald Guy blog. (Course we know he is never polite or politically correct) so should make for an interesting post.

This is not as simple of a question as it would seem at first glance.
First you need to be something I am not (good with graphics) or have someone who can (like I do) for the graphics. It is easy to just change the graphics to get the same or very similar look to your blog as your web site has.
The problem is finding which graphic to change. Each theme will be a bit different in how they are constructed so it is not an exact answer. The process is the same but the name of the image to be redone will vary.
To get started first find a theme that is similar or at least complimentary to your site design. It doesn’t have to be exact and try and ignore the header graphic and background as these are changes you will make.
Be more interested in the types of font it uses, the way the blockquote looks, how it displays dates, etc. You can search through numerous themes at the Word Press Theme Viewer. Personally, I would want a widget ready theme but that is because I am lazy at times .
Install the theme on your blog. Find the header image. Now here is where you will probably need to review either the header.php file or the style sheet. Once you find what image is being called for from the php you can grab a copy of it and get that redone to match your web site header.
The background image is usually found in the css file. Again once you find the file being called replace it with a similar image you are using on your website.
This can allow you to have a blog that if not exactly like your website will indeed be very similar.
