What Content Do I Accept?

  • Topics related to this blog. This blog focuses on blogging in general and WordPress specifically You might want to look at what kind of articles get the best response.
  • Original Content. Your blog post must be original and not published before. Once your article is approved to be published on this site we can come to an agreement for you to republish the article. The article is yours. You own it.
  • Editing – I have the right to edit your post. This is mainly to edit grammar, spelling and structure. Upon your request all edits will be sent to you for you final approval.

Guest Blogging Guidelines

  • Submitting Posts – Register for this blog and then send in a support ticket with the user name you created and I will upgrade it to an author’s account. You can then add your post through the dashboard.
  • Byline – You can write a byline with one link to your site. All bylines must be approved by me. You may also submit a link to your Twitter account.
  • Introduction – Write what you want said in your introduction. I may edit the introduction at my discretion.
  • Photos – Submit your gravatar link so it can included in the post. I highly recommend other photos for you post. Any photos submitted you are guaranteeing you have permission to use the photo.

Your Participation Is Required

  • Promotion – Part of guest posting is promoting the post. You can promote your guest post on your site, in emails, on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Participate – On this site it is easy to participate in the comments. Remember your content in the comments is just as important as the content of your post.

Don”t Bother With

  • Paid sponsored links. If you are just after links go somewhere else. Guest blogging on this site is for marketing and sharing great content.
  • Content that has been published else where. (I have a checker for this.) Or copyrighted content or pictures.
  • Promotion links to your products or affiliate products.
  • Short articles that focus on your byline.
  • Failing to follow the guidelines.

How to Submit.

  • Submit your post through the dashboard once you have an approved author account.

Results

  • Publication notice – You will be notified by email when your article will be published.
  • Rejection notice- You will be notified if your article is rejected. You will get the reason why.
  • When – All submissions will be reviewed twice a week and notices will go out within a 5 day period.
  • Promotion – I will promote your post. It will be featured and I will send out emails. I will feature and promote you on Twitter.
