Without seeing all of the code and what the form looks like it is impossible to give you an easy fix. It probably is a conflict between the new code and the theme css.

Try stripping the form down to a plain form and add the rest of the text through your dashboard editor.

I would like to add an opt-in page to my Wordpress blog. However, some of the coding is stripped out. The Web form from Aweber has a blue background and white letters. When I copied the html code into the html area of the page, the background was white and script gray. It moved the opt in fields to the left as well. Any suggestions? No, I don't know how to do the CSS.

First, I want to agree with everyone else, any opt-in box is better than none.

Second I want of thank you for your excellent coverage of how to get a good opt-in form and offer onto your blog.

Great post, Mike - might be a natural to do a video for, since many newbies are afraid to alter coding without a step-by-step video showing them how...

Or, conversely, have you considered bringing out a plugin to put a signup form in the sidebar? Seems there's a lot of need for it... Or even a theme with that already embedded?
