Automatic Blog Posting plugin review

First off this is a plugin you need to buy. You may have seen it promoted but I wanted to test it before writing about it and yes I got a free copy to play with. With the disclaimers out of the way lets look at this plugin and how you can use it.

The plugin pulls in articles on a regular basis for your blog and auto posts them. The articles are coming from Article Base and are posted completely to your site including the resource box so it is perfectly legal to use this.

It staggers the times it posts so you get consistent random postings.

Advantages

Unlike the old RSS scraper systems it pulls a quality article and though it links out through the signature box your reader can see the whole article on your site. Most of the others I have seen use a blurb and if someone wants to actually read the rest of the article they leave your site.

The random posting also keeps the blog posting looking natural. Most of the articles that it has drawn for me are of decent quality and all are at least 300 words in length.

You can set the keywords to filter for articles on your specific topic and set the category for where the articles post.

Disadvantages

You do need to have the signature box and if the author is any good some people will leave your site to follow those links. The good part is the links will open in a new window.

On a few of my very tight niches when I looked there was not much available on those keywords in Article Base.

Now one of the things I did not like about the sales letter is the set and forget. Now I have not used this long enough to be sure but past experience has shown me that if the only content you are adding is these articles you will not get super results. But I don’t blame them the automatic thing is a huge hot button for sales.

The final disadvantage is it does not allow you to tag the posts without going back and editing them in.

How I will use it

All in all this is a good plugin. It works very well and is relatively easy to install if you follow the steps in the readme file.

This is great for niche blogs that you would like additional content added but don’t have time. As a supplement to what you are already doing this can be an excellent way to add more content on the “auto pilot” but only as an addition for blogs I am adding other content to regularly.

The extra post or two a week should improve the blog overall and should allow for more traffic and subscribers.
