I've heard of TypePad but have never looked at it. I downloaded the plugin. It will be interesting to see it integrates Google, Facebook, Yahoo or OpenID accounts.
Will be watching for your reports on these new add ons.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('24290','Lonnie Minton','I\'ve heard of TypePad but have never looked at it.
TypePad and MoveableType are both robust platforms, although lesser-known to newbies than WordPress. This is a great step by Anil Dash, showing true concern for bloggers worldwide.

Now the question is whether those behind WordPress care as much, and will reciprocate. This could be the first step towards an integrated platform that incorporates the best of all possible worlds for bloggers!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('24287','Doug Champigny','TypePad and MoveableType are both robust platforms, although lesser-known to newbies than WordPress.
Competition is good for the soul, and better for those of us who use these services, to a point. The better the product the more effective we can be in using it. Glad to hear there is a comnpetitor to keep wordpress pressing forward, although I was unaware it existed.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('24285','Earl Netwal','Competition is good for the soul, and better for those of us who use these services, to a point.
Hi Mike,

Never heard before of them. Not really surprising because I never looked beyond the two platforms I'm using. And I both started because they were available in Fantastico for easy installation. I like(d) b2evo but on all new blogs I using now WP. Just wonder if there is some comparison of blog scripts out there....
