Well I just finished the lost week here if you have not noticed. Not sure what hit me but Monday night I got something and have been pretty much down for the count until today.

Normally that would not be a problem as I usually have a week’s worth of posts queued up that I can turn to in a case like this. Unfortunately I have been extremely tied up on an upcoming project and had used up all of my inventory.

Because I had let that happen this blog went quiet for a few days and not just this blog but my other blogs too. So my content delivery went down big time.

Now it will go back up now that I can spend more than 5 minutes without needing to blow my nose and can compose two thoughts in a row.

So over the weekend (which is supposed to be gorgeous here) I will get the blogs queued back up and back to normal content delivery instead of enjoying the warm weather. Sucks to get sick.

So how do I normally avoid this when I am not in the middle of a big project and how can you avoid this problem because the one sure thing is that life will happen and not always to your schedule.

First do your keyword research and create topics for the next two weeks. Then set time aside to sit and write the two weeks of content and put them in draft format.

Every week do a week’s worth of content so you stay ahead or every other week do two weeks. You get the idea but then if life interferes and it will you are good for a week or two.

It sounds harder than it is as it is actually easier to write 5 blog posts at once than to write a post a day for 5 days. Once you start writing it is much easier to keep writing just schedule the time and allow no interference.

That means turn off Skype, close your email and Twitter client or anything else that is not needed and sit down and write. When you finish one start on the next until you have written however many you need.

This is where the Affiliate Niche Packs can be invaluable. You already have the keywords and titles so it becomes easy to sit and write and once you get on a roll it becomes easier.

Well that is how I do it when I don’t get caught short like this week so I am off to keep writing as I know week after next I will be missing a few days while my Mom gets her knee replaced.
