WordPress 2.8.3 Upgrade – Oops
Really glad they added the auto upgrade to WordPress. Seems they missed something in the last upgrade and as this is a security issue it is important to upgrade your blog. Here is the notice from the WordPress blog.
I have added in the upgrade video once again below to help you keep upgraded.
Talk to you on Wednesday at the Blog Talk Radio Show.

WP is the worst I’ve seen in 13 years online when it comes to constant upgrades – sure glad your service looks after it all for such a small monthly outlay!

That’s a great feature! Will have to look for it when I get back to my dashboard.
Thanks for the update!

Just updated to 2.8.3 as well, with the automatic upgrade plugin no prob, except to reconfirm the All SEO plugin configuration and reactivate it, but then all is good. Downside is, their updates come in very often, but probably we have to live with it.

This was an unexpected one as they thought they had fixed the security problem but found out part was missing.

Yes, I really appreciate the auto update feature.
Especially as often as they release updates any more.
Thanks for the video as well. Definitely helps to be able to see what to do.

I had no problem with my first 2.8.3 upgrade last night except one plugin acted strangely and I landed up deleting it. I’m looking for an alternative that works.
