WordPress 2.9.2 – New security release from WordPress
WordPress just released a new version for the 2.9 series. This is a very limited security update. It is mainly for multi-author blogs.
Per the WordPress blog they were alerted to a problem
a problem where logged in users can peek at trashed posts belonging to other authors. If you have untrusted users signed up on your blog and sensitive posts in the trash, you should upgrade to 2.9.2.
The majority of readers here are probably not effected but you should be aware.
Added the video on upgrading if you need it below.
The method of upgrading has not changed so even though it says 2.7.1 it is still valid.

Thanks for the information. They have been really quiet lately with very few updates. I can be happy for that. Thanks.

I logged in today and seen the upgrade to 2.9.3 and 4 of my plugins upgraded to be compatible with 2.9.2. How funny is that. Guess I’ll wait for the next upgrade.
Thanks for the great wordpress info you always give us.

Thanks, Mike! I’ve heard that 2.9.2 also now allows one-button updates for all plugins at once – that true?
