Advertising value of your blog

Very interesting question today. One that is very subjective to say the least.
Remember that your questions are welcomed here and you can just leave it in the comments. Quite often those questions are the basis for the content here as I like to answer the specific questions you have.
Is there a way to determine the value of advertising on your blog on any given day? I know there isn’t some magical formula, but when you do get inquiries or wish to setup an Advertising page, how do you come up with good figures?
It is hard to come up with a specific value for your blog advertising generally let alone come up with a value for a specific day.
Now someone may have a formula but in the end the value ends up being what someone is willing to pay for it.
It is easier to answer some of the things that advertisers would be interested in. Some of this depends on the type of advertising you are offering.
The amount of traffic you get daily is probably one of the biggest and the PR of your blog would be the second.
Traffic is understandable because the more often their ad is seen the more valuable it will be.
For text links often the PR of the site has more to do with value than the amount of traffic. They are more interested in the value of the link for search engine purposes than the amount of traffic that will see it.
Now these are just my opinions as I do no selling of ads on my sites so I have no personal matrices to draw on.
Remember that your comments and questions are welcomed and appreciated.
