Todays question:

How do niche blogs work? I see ads for sites that offer you 2-3 niche blogs to set up each month (or some time frame). How can anyone keep up with say 12 blogs after a years time?

If one of the ways to have a successful blog is to keep it updated with fresh content, how is this possible with numerous niche blogs?

The easy answer is outsourcing content development. One of the big problems with some of the programs you are talking about is they give you the starting point and can work well but…

You will need to continue to add content later. There are lots of ways to get the content – outsourcing, PLR articles, etc.

The key is to be reinvesting in the blog through additional content. You can easily set the blog up to post every so often and load all the content once but once the cycle is done you need to add more.

For example I go into a niche and load the blog with 30 posts to go out every other day. This will run for 60 days off the initial setup. You need to also do a bit of linking to get it going. All of these things can be outsourced.

After 60 days it has started building a subscriber base, made a few bucks and you take that and get more content and set it up so you are only going in every other month. If it is really starting to get profitable then maybe you want to look deeper into that niche and maybe think about creating a product there (or having one created) or expanding the products that you review on the blog.

If it was a dud then maybe you let it die a merciful death. Not all of the niches will work for you but you can use it to test the niche and the ones that work focus in much more there.

All parts of this can be outsourced so you personally don’t have to be worried about having enough time and the winners can easily put you in profit even if some of the losers cost you a few bucks.

Trying to do this type of thing without outsourcing can be frustrating and if you only have time for three then you may not hit the rich vein in those and the fourth one that you did not have time for is the winner but you didn’t test it.

It is a constant test and tweak process if you are looking to use those types of sources and leveraging outsourcing is the key no matter how easy the sales letter makes it sound.

As always your questions and comments are welcomed.
