Blogathon - Need your questions

I have decided to take part this Saturday in Dr Mani’s mini blogathon. This means that on Saturday I will be posting every 30 minutes for 4 hours. This is being done to raise awareness for Dr Mani’s Heart Blogathon where he will be posting at the same rate but for 24 straight hours.
Because of this I would love to be posting answers to various questions about WordPress and blogging in general. This means I need 9 questions to answer during this period. You can help me by leaving your comments here then on Saturday I will be answering all of them every 30 minutes.
If you guys and gals can ask more than 9 questions then I will post even more often.
Here is the cool part as I see it.

Would posting static pages with specific content be considered wise?
I posted my last Ezine to a Static page and pointed subsctbers to it’s URL.
Or should on just keep it on the main Blog?

HI,
Here are my questions:
1. Where do I enable trackback so others can see it and grab the url? Is it a plug in?
2. Which themes are best for monetizing a blog , ie adding banners and other ads?
3. Is there a mini course on scripts specific for where to insert things in the sidebar, etc
4.How do you join or start a carnival?
5. Are you going to treat yourself to something special after you answer all these questions because you deserve it!
PS what blogging directories do you recc?

Is it harmful to place a post in two categories? I have many posts that fit more than one of the categories I have created.
